It looks like a fledgling. Might have just got out of the nest and accidently dropped in the plane. Do you guys have a nesting pair there?

Glad you all called animal control. I'm surprised it didn't die from being stressed out.

It can't accidently drop in there, it had to actually make it's way into the cockpit in the plane. Didnt look like a fledgling either, it was pretty big. I know it was living in the hanger since we saw alot of dead mice parts/pellets.

Calling animal control is definitely the right thing to do, especially on a base. We'd get in trouble if we did otherwise lol.

Silly Owl, thinking it's an Osprey.

Wonder if that's the same V-22 I saw flying around the other day. I stopped off at the view point and watched for a bit. Cool shit!

Discrepancy: Owl in the cockpit

Corrective Action: Found owl, counseled owl on cockpit FOD awareness. Owl promises not to do it again.

Someone from the mil will understand that.

Also, its funny because its an Owl in an Osprey.

Are you writing up a MAF? Who was the worker and who was the CDI? BTW, I seen some f**ked up MAFs before. One was a MAF written for rocks being in the ramp. The Airframers thought it was funny put in the corrective action: Found Pedro, Juan and Carlos (aka the rocks) pulled them out and deported them back to Mexico.

My favorites are the "noises" the pilot hears, but my favorite was loud whining noise in cockpit during flight.

It was too good...Had to right in corrective action: Whining linked to throttle and flight stick actuator, new parts on order.

Well the Owl got in some how, because someone left the plane open during our 4 day weekend. We called animal control and they pulled it out. Can't shoot it, because we can't carry personal weapons on base. Plus the bullet would have probably fucked up stuff that we would have to fix. Much easier for us to take it out while it's still alive lol.

wait so marines had to call animal control.... so much for the "mens department" lol j/k :evillaugh:

There are alot of rules that we have to follow, while in country, especially in Commiefornia. You break the rules, you get in trouble and knowing Commiefornia, you'll get fined too.
