Okay, I remember Baron posting the install on the other site but I never heard any feedback? I would really like to have more fluid but I was very concerned that thing hangs too low.

Does anyone have one on thier car and how is it working out? Are there any clearance issues with it?

Is your car lowered at all?

I have been talking with Dave and from what I have seen and heard the pan is good with no clearence issues. He did have a leak problem with the fitting for the dipstick which should be addressed before installing the pan.

Mark, my AOD never went over 175 degrees, we installed the transmission on a friends car last week, he has the B&M transcooler with a fan, and his never went over 145 on the oil and the trans case 174.

400 for a pan sounds a little steep ill just tap mine for now so i can add fluid when the t/c goes in

I've seen Dale's installed pan and it hangs pretty danged low! It's lower than his frame rails. With my lowering motor mounts I don't think it would last long on my car. It is also way overpriced IMHO. I believe you could buy a stock pan and get something similar fabbed up for less. The hassle factor may outweigh the gains with that approach though.

tom and the guys used my car for the prototype so i got one last year before they were released. i have had no problems. my car is lowered and there are no clearance issues even on speed bumps. mine is level with my L/T headers so if it ever hits so will my exhaust.
here's a couple of pics of mine. the quality is great as with all of PA's products and it makes servicing a breeze now. yes it is expensive as far as trans pans go but everything for these cars is pricey because so much r&d is required. i think it's worth it cause not only do you get the luxury of having a dipstick and a drain it also cools the fluid 25-30* and they are stable not varying more than 20* up or down even while racing in late rounds with no cool down time.
