How do use the car, i.e canyon carver, autox, track toy or mildly driven DD?

Panhard brace: Pass.
I know that if you pull the factory unit out it really does appear flimsy as hell (it'll easily twist in your hands). But that's subjected to twisting forces it's really not intended to resist in the first place. FWIW, I have one, because it was cheap and I bought into the "flimsy" argument. Then this summer I saw the FR500S cars running times I could only drool over...and I'm pretty sure they were using the stock brace. I guarantee those guys are running harder than you or I ever do (for the foreseeable future...).

The lower control arm brace is something that Ford thought well enough of to include it as standard equipment on later cars. So that deserves some love, I think.

The general consensus I've seen on the front upper strut tower brace is that it's largely window dressing. Some look pretty cool though. I have one...`cause it doesn't cost me points (NASA TT) and it looks cool. =)

Best,

The 2010 should already have the factory lower control arm brace. My 08 did but I installed the Steeda part as I already had it and we were replacing so much other stuff we just just did it as well.

The front STB raises lot's of discussion but in my case I run the Roush one which is very beefy and clears my SC. I figure when pulling 1 lateral G on big tires and rims it can't hurt and it does look good, even though the weight is in just about the worst possible place.

I was always under the impression a STB was useless on these cars. I 'heard' on several forums it helps with tramlining which I experience with the 275/40 front tires on 9.5'' rims. Like so much other bad information it didn't help but it does look cool fwiw. How a tower brace would help with tramlining I don't know but figured it was worth a shot and picked one up for cheap when the chance arose.

The panhard brace is only there to keep the chassis-side panhard connection brackets from flexing and the stock one does a well enough job of it. Aftermarket brace not required.
