Yes, it's 5 AM and I'm working on the car in the garage. Truth be told, I've been at it since 3:30.
Anyway, I'm trying to wrap up the final this-and-that miscellaneous bs left from a Saleen SC install. I just pulled the passenger side kick panel to hook up the control wire for the water pump for the IC and noticed a portion of the carpet was damp.
Of course, that made me pull back more of the carpet and what I found is kind of surprising.
The carpet is so wet you can actually wring it out.
I mean, if you touch it the water runs (not drips) off not only the foam insulation against the firewall, but all the way back to the seat rails.
I pulled it back as far as I could and stuffed a towel in there to soak up as much as I could (the towel couldn't suck up any more water).
I've got both doors open and a fan in the footwell as you're reading this. (Assuming you're not reading this after about 8:00 AM on Monday, October 20th.
)
With this stuff pulled back as far as it'll go, I STILL can't figure out from where the water is coming.
The part that's the most odd is that the car has been sitting in the garage for about two weeks while I'm messing around with the blower install.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks gang,
Alan
