people that did gt500 front conversion

I am slowly piecing together my Gt500 front end conversion. So far I have

Gt500 bumper
upper and lower grillls
fog lights

I just need to get headlights and brackets.

I noticed that you have to take out the GT crash pad isolater

Do I absolutely have to have a Gt500 crash pad isolater as well?
Also will I need any other minor pieces? (rivets, etc?)

I would rather not have to put it on for the sake of cost savings.

Your gonna need it, the stock GT one will not support the GT500 and it will sag.

There are a couple brackets that rivet to the cover itself on each side you'll also need. Also the splitter and hardware, and the front halfs of the splash shields are different. And don't forget pigtails for the foglights.
