Petty's Garage (PIC HEAVY!!!!)

Well I got a chance this weekend to go with my dad and his car club JAM! (Jacksonville Automotive Muscle) out of Jacksonville,FL (mostly all Mopar) to go up to Rockingman, North Carolina to Richard Petty's Garage, where they work on all of there cars, and also got a chance to visit his museum as well. The club had an appointment with the shop and everybody had stuff done to there cars while we were up there. At first I was kinda bummed that it was all Dodges, not that there's anything wrong with them, just no mustangs kinda bummed me out lol. But I was in for a surprise when I got up there. We were the only people at the shop when we were there. We got the full tour of the place. And most of all got to meet the King himself!

One of the guys that worked there was talking to me about the car above about what all he had to do to it, and how he was saying he was pretty much the only ford guy there. And we walked around to another garage, he said he wanted to show me his truck, and this is what I saw.

32' Ford Fully Built 302 with a vortech supercharger.

Then the guys walked use around to the other garages to check everything out

The red dodge is Adam Petty's car and the one on top is Richards car.

Then we had a chance to go to his museum. Which was amazing! A lot of cool stuff in there!

His gun collection me and my dad couldnt believe how many guns he had!

All in all I had a great time! Got to meet the king and look at some bad ass mustangs! Talking to the guys up there I also found out that they are going to start working on mustangs and doing a lot of custom work with them. They had a brand new 5.0 that was getting a overhaul on. They were saying once they are done with it they are going to have a big unveiling of the car and the mustang part of the company

Guessing that would be where that cobra jet diff went from the earlier pic of the Cobra jet on the lift. lol
