Picked up 16 rwhp ported boss manifold and custom cai

Here is the thread the shop doing the work on my car made. Without any other tuning, just ported the boss manifold runners and a custom 4 inch cold air piping I went from 509 rwhp NA to 525 rwhp. I picked up quiet a bit theough out the graph in hp and tq.

any head work or regrinded cams, or is that bolt-ons + e85? very impressive #'s

Yes of course cams and head work. No bolt on car can get close to those numbers. Lol

Impressive, Just curious what kind of porting on a plastic intake ? Are we talking about just matching the TB to intake or actually increasing runner volume. Hope Im not asking to much, just really curious.

There are some areas in the runners where the casting meets that aren't flush. Not a huge overlap but there is some. I personally haven't changed anything in the runners on the intakes I have run but some swear there are gains to be had.

Thanks, so its more of a buff or polish than it is a port.

Nice numbers. Seems like good gains too, but I'm also wondering what the port entailed. Subbed for track times.
