Well thanks to that asshole midget from houston I found a 96 cobra "roller " for a great price so decided to pick it up .........well by the time I left with it monday night it came with a 04 cobra motor and a mvb aode lol . Man was monday not my day I start out by leaving later than I wanted to thanks to my son's school then get to beaumont only to get stuck behind a wreck and end up stranded on the interstate for damn near 5 hours ( they were doing road construction and the lanes were barricaded off so no cutting through a median ) . Then get to the trailer place only to have them dick around for over a hour so instead of getting there for 12-1pm like I planned I got there at damn near 7:30 .

This is a pretty clean car but has some work left to be done , mostly just time consuming not bank account consuming . I think it is a pretty safe bet to say every harness/connector in the whole car is disconnected from the headlights to taillights and I have to put a wrench on every nut/bolt from front to back ( may be partially because of my ocd though haha ) . First things to be done is connect/splice/delete the harnesses , modify the cage to put swingouts and figure out a new window net mounting , run all the fuel lines , scoot the seats inward about 3/4" to give more clearance on the cage , then it's off to the drivetrain teardown and rebuild . My realistic goal for completion is 6 months or better mainly due to me doing most of the work myself and only being home 1/3rd of the year . Anyway this is the parts pile so far

haha yep same asshole midget your thinking of but I didn't acquire his doll . His looked like it had been through some rough times it was covered in duct tape and cheap whiskey lol .

I never was a big fan of this style but they have grown on me lately plus they have 90 foxes to every 1 of these right now as "racecars" so it doesn't have that ohh another fox affect when seen .

I have the motor ready to pull right now but had to head back to work yay lol so when I get back in in two weeks it will be pulled and sent over to my local kick ass engine builder lance . I am still undecided on how far I am going to take this motor but I am almost positive the heads will be pulled and cleaned up/mild port before the motor goes back in then we shall see how deep into the 10's maybe 9's I can take it on the eaton . This motor went 10.5's before on a heavier car with little to no suspension so I think it would be safe to say it SHOULD go 9's but just have to wait and see what the racing gods allow lol .

Good cuz boy do I have a project for you

96 harness and computer , 04 cop harness spliced in , aode from a lincoln ( non L/U TB MVB ) all extra shit deleted wiring too a/c , p/s , fuel , radio , egr , ect. and enough boost to blow shit up lol .

I have the wiring schematic coming in this week along with a ford service manual for the car , new valve cover gaskets , and should have a few of the little extra things by next week ..... 99-04 gt brakes , random nuts/bolts , starter , then I have to go junkyarding for some small shit oil filler cap , coolant tank , crossmember , 4r70w shifter cable & brackets etc.

That's if I get time to do anything at all with it this week we just put the house up for sale so the BOSS has me busy as hell .
