The engine in it is a 351C. Can't say it is original. Haven't got the Marti report back yet but according to the specs I have seen they indeed did have the 351C in 69, but I am no expert at all. And I got it for a cruiser to enjoy, not an all original. I plan to drive this bad boy!

Looks like you are correct. Quick search reveals that the engine code is for the 351 cid 2V.

I "settled" on the 06 after getting fed up years looking for decent 69/70

Brakes for sure, a little front end work it feels like when driving it, and probably rebuild the tranny, shifter and a new clutch. Some interior work is needed as well but mostly on the right side dash.




Well it came home today!

Turns out it's not a Mach 1 at all just a common sportroof. That just means I can be more creative.
