Plans for Rear seat delete, does any one have one? I want to do the rear seat delete. If any one has done it themselves what are some tips, things you would of done differently, materials used and cost vs buying one?

I just got one from LRS. It is the MMR one. It is very flimsy. What are you doing the delete for? Weight? looks? I removed the rear seats and all the hardware and it all weighed 23 lbs. The MMR one is less than that, but again it is very flimsy. I should have it installed Sunday or Monday. I can post some pics and some thoughts.

But so far my thoughts are that for 129 I could have made a better piece with a 1/4" thick aluminum sheet metal and some speaker box carpet.

If you have any fab skills or know someone that does, look into doing it your self. As far as weight savings goes the MMR one weighs very little. The jury is still out on how it looks( as far as Im concerned)

There are alot better ways to spend your money for weight savings than deleting the rear seats, they are really light in these cars. Not to mention when you add the delete metal/wood felt cover up shit it adds weight right back.

They are Smoking crack!

Or you could just leave the damn seats alone and put the money into suspension.

Ive already done that. I've done most weight savings mods (minus brakes and those are next). I've got a PM into Jarrod at LRS about a return. I will probably just re-install the rear seats minus hardware.

You can unbolt the child anchor rails behind the seats thats like 2 lbs savings lol
That and the seatbelts anchor/spools. Shit that stuff probably weighs more than the rear seats themselves.

Oh and plently weight to be lost by removing that heavy ass intake manifold too lol
Thats 20lbs on the nose.

And let me guess, put that POS FRRP plastic crap on there? No thanks. Im more than happy with the way the C and L out performs the FRRP.

lol yeah there isn't a ton of weight savings with that rear seat. I'm leaving mine in until I have to cage it. Which may be never.
