[Rygen]

Complete Metco rear suspension package is going in the car while it is in California. Rear end is getting 9" housing ends, Moser axles, Detroit Locker, 3.55 or 3.73 gears, and girdle cover. Not taking any chances. Roll bar is being fabbed early next week. We figure the car should go well below 11.49 so all of this is going to be installed before the car leaves for the Reynolds NMRA race. Talked to Precision Industries today and we settled on 3500 rpm stall speed. Sponsor is really excited about the power we're making on such a mild tune. We'll see what happens in four weeks.

Very cool, impressive as well! I see high 10's in your future. With all the TQ you have, and that high of a stall, I would go 3.55's. If I didn't already have 3.75's in my car, I would be going with 3.55's as well.

Went to the track last night and made a couple of passes. Still waiting on getting a few mods installed to better my 60' times and then I hope to be in the 11's. If not after that I have a set of 15" Bogart wheels coming with some 28" tall Mickey Thompson ET Streets.

NEW BEST at Irwindale and my nemesis is defeated!!!

A 6.74 at 101.56 with a 1.431 60' time! Then I backed it up with a 6.78 @ 102.12 mph!

So the first slip car 3896 (me) vs GT4Dino (4624). My margin of victory was only .0370, so it was close. Plus Dean got me by .074 on the tree. But I finally beat Dean after like 8 attempts. I have the video of that which I will post up tomorrow.

Second slip was 3896 (me) vs Ken3030 (4611). I lost to the 3.4 whipple. Still ran a 6.78 at 102.12 (my best mph) but it wasn't enough to hold off the 3.4 with the street tune, which ran a 6.59 @ 104.61. I got this on video as well which I will post up in the video section tomorrow as well.
