Hello Everyone,

I have been planning to do brakes on my 2012 GT and I wanted to use a pressure bleeder to replace the brake fluid. I have watched numerous videos on YouTube and I have been searching extensively for a product or kit to do this. The biggest issue I have is that, although I have found many kits, only one seems to have the proper reservoir adapter. Motive Products 0118 Black Label Power Bleeder. My concern is that the most recent reviews (past year or so) are abysmal. Evidently, this use to be a good product, but was acquired by another company and quality is now an issue.

I appreciate any guidance people have regarding their experience with any of the various manufacturers of these kits.

AFAIK forscan can activate the build-in bleeding procedure from the ABS system.
I use gravity bleeding since years with success.

PS: found it

PPS: I start left front then the reservoir is filled with fresh fluid faster. It is 4 channel system, so it is anyway without meaning where you start.

I have used the cheap vacuum bleeder from Harbor Freight for the last 10+ years in combination with my garage air compressor. And I don't use the jug that goes on the reservoir, I just don't let the reservoir run low myself. It's not rocket science.

Great information, thanks! I looked in the Ford manual, but it does not list a capacity for the brake fluid. I understand that this would vary based on how worn the brakes are, but how much fluid would I need to have on hand to completely flush the system? I ordered 48 ozs.
