So last night I was racing a turbo is300, put a couple cars on him... Let off and go to turn around and I hear this aweful sound.

Pull over and openthe hood and the belt for my procharger is all mangled up.

Not sure why or how it broke, but I want to get the car driving again... What size belt do I need?

Hmmm do you have a metal line running really close to the belt near the headunit? I do and they said its too close for comfort, they want to relocate it next time I go.

The belt doesn't say the size? I can check mine today.

The belt is destroyed LOL if you could check that would be great.

I don't think I have any lines near the headunit, just the coolant hoses. I relocated alot of crap on mine

8 posts and nobody has asked what pulley you're running?? You should just go buy any belt and try it, then go get another and another and keep trying them, then take the wrong ones back once you find the right one.

Seriously, it is very unusual to destroy a belt on a Procharger. You need to have a very close look at all you pulleys, to make sure everything is lined up correctly. Also check that the head unit is tight on the bracket, and the bracket is tight on the engine. Lastly, be sure to ensure the belt is tensioned correctly.

I was running the 10 psi pulley, I think i need a K080680... I tried the 70" but it was just a tad bit too big with the tensioner all the way tight.

I checked to make sure the headunit was tight, and it appears to be so. Everything seemed tight, not sure why the belt ripped...
