They are on tight as fuck you can see them squeezing the couplers.

Even then those clamps are rubbish. I know of two other S197 F1 cars where they couldn't keep the inlet pipe on. Hell, mine at 500 to the wheels wouldn't stay on either. Best thing is to put a lip on the pipes, and go with T-bolts.

I like the upgrades he's done with the brace to the shock tower, and the additional idler pulley. I've been looking at doing the same thing.

I'll bet to make the numbers he did, he didn't do it with that filter on there. I'll bet that filter is just for the street.

whose car is that? can someone get me a filter number from him?

That's an F1C, it has a bigger inlet size than your F1A, so his filter won't fit your A. Plus, as you can see, it doesn't fit worth a shit already.

Measure the distance from the outlet to the shock tower, k&n has a great search feature.
I've found a bunch of short filters that I may use if my intake project doesn't work out.

K&N RU-4250 3.750" ID 5.000" height
K&N RC-8480 3.750" ID 6.750" height
K&N RU-3530 3.750" ID 7.000" height
K&N RC-4840 3.875" ID 2.750" height
K&N RC-5057 3.938" ID 3.625" height
K&N HA-2440 4.000" ID 3.500" height

Can you tell what each of the short filters flow? No point in putting a shirt filter that doesn't flow very much air.
