You should have to take two wires out of the plug that used to plug into the fuel hat and then they get installed into a plug to go into the second plug on the new harness. THose wires are for you fuel level. Also, the wire that you run to the fuse panel should come with a fuse holder in it and a 30amp fuse so no other fuses need to be replaced.

Steps 29-31 for the sending wires

The original plug that used to go to the fuel hat should have like 4 wires in it. Two of those wires are for the fuel gauge, You need to remove those tow wires from the original plug. The second, smaller plug that can with your new wiring harness should have the male and female ends together. Take them apart and repin the two wires you removed from the original harness into the new one.

I know there are some good pics on this somewhere here. Looking. . . .

The new plug should have a purple with yellow strip and a green with a stripe. THe original plug should have a blueish with yellow strip and a green with a purple stripe i think. The main wire colors are close to the same just put purple with purple and green with green.

You will need to replace the underhood fuel pump fuse with a 30amp as well since you are going to be running baps. Otherwise you will blow the fuse.

How hard was the crossover install? Take the manifold off and alternator or just manifold? Also were you able to use the gaskets from the 05 cross over in the 07+ crossover ?
