Man, that baby of yours is frikkin awesome!! I sat here thinking of a way to describe it and that's all I could come up with. Sorry....have only had one cup of coffee so far!

She is so clean, attention paid to every single detail, the BOSS Stripe looks perfect making the exterior look clean as well! You've done an outstanding job with her and I look forward to seeing more track videos once you get not only the car, but youself broken in!

With a new setup like that, I was always worried I was going to blow something up from me doing something wrong. Seems like the first month of racing a new setup always had my booty-hole puckered up just waiting for me to do something really expensively stupid. Like the first time I launched our Chevette with a built 283 in it. I fucked up on the transbrake myself and tore the rear end right off the car. I mean, the rear end was working just fine, but I sheared it off the sub-frames. Wasn't too expensive, but took a hell of a long time to get fixed.

I am going to get used to the car first, then attend a few races. Once I am consistent, then a flowed, single stage fogger system will go on. I don't want to use a plate because at 16:1 compression, the a/f will be critical, and on the engine dyno we found that a couple cylinders run a little bit leaner then the others.

As far as the procharger, I always wanted to run one, but I won't until at least a couple years or unless the engine has to come apart for some reason. But I have been working on this car for 1 year 4 months, so right now I just want to race it!

Paul, sick man!! Car sounds real good!!

You should see the guys around here that put a brake in their car for the first time. They stage, hit the brake, let go of it, and let off because it scared the shit out of them!!

my first time with the Tbrake, it hooked so hard and put me so far into the seat, my foot came off the gas. i got back into it but excitement made me forget to shift the 1-2 lol

So I am working on getting my license, so I did a couple of 60' and a couple of 330' test passes. Even though I totally f'd up the first two passes, I am getting used to the car, and my second two passes weren't bad.

Here is a video of one of my 330' test passes. An ok 1.378 60' time, leaving at only 4000 on the transbrake. This engine really likes to be above 5000, so I need to be more aggressive off the line. Time to the 330' was a 3.908, which when compared to other ETs on the spreadsheet would put me around 9.40. However, I really think this car has an easy 3.8X in it to the 330, which would put me in the 9.30 range on motor only.

Check out the video, I have two camera angles. Watch how long it takes me to cross the line after I get out of it (because I am also braking so I can make the first turn off), and I still manage a 6.73 @ 70.26 mph haha. This car should have a 6.0 in it for the 1/8th on motor only.
