Ha ha I wish Cam
Can you cut off the old plug and wire it into the new harness?
Damn it Cam!!!!! So impressed!!!!!! Awesome job!
My grandfather taught me a good lesson in life. When you're frustrated about something. Take a step back and take a break. Works every time.
I wonder if that's why Sam changed out all of the wiring harnesses in his car when he did the swap? At least I think I remember reading that in his thread.

Despite my annoyance with this project at the moment, I can't ignore the fact that it is all coming together nicely... I'll be on edge until I start it up and doesn't explode.
Sam had no choice but to change it since his is a 05 and there is a huge difference between the 05-06 and the 07-09 body harness, since side airbags became a thing, along with ABS in the GT500, etc etc. I figured that half the hassle with wiring could be overlooked since I have all those things already, everything has gone together easily, except for this single plug. I won't jump the gun, however I sincerely hope it's not a big issue.
He is helping me out though and will be looking at his car to see what his looks like. I may not make it to the store tomorrow since I finally have someone coming to replace all the duct work in my attic, but I'll be there Saturday to look up on the computer and see if there are other HID harnesses that were available at different times.
Side note: I forgot to let you guys know that yesterday I also took time to remove the SJB and trace that wire. Turns out the guy had that wire tapped into another wire on the back of the SJB and it was shorting out the car because it was making contact with the metal in the floorboard. I have since removed that wire and bandaged it with some electrical tape. Once again, simple problems causing the biggest problems. Another funny thing I mentioned is that I couldn't get the OBDII port to work on the car when I tested power last week... found out it was just a ground wire I forgot to hook up in the engine bay.
One step at a time. You're making good progress, Cam.
WOW!!!!!!!!!
Headlights are overated!!!!!! LOL!! That adds a totally new concept to the Bullitt!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
great work cam. keep it up!
Still my thoughts about my build. lol Im hoping the moment of truth is this weekend.
Very nice Cam.
My bad, forgot that his car was an 05.
Lol, we haven't even gotten to the exciting part... getting the stock hood to shut.
Whenever I can!
I was trying to figure out if that was going to happen while looking at the most recent pics.
