Another problem I'm now experiencing is both of the Aeroforce gauges have gone to shit. One of them will only turn on if the car is in ignition -> accessory but will black out once the engine is started and it also now has a fantastic dead pixel line that goes vertical... and the other one is just dead and only blinks the red shift light every 30 seconds.

I had the same issue with one of my dual AF gauges with the constant cycling of the start up screen followed by the shift light flash. I contact AF by email and they had me send it in. Within a week it showed up in the mail and it seemed to work fine. But I was a bit frustrated as it came with zero paperwork, so I contacted them again (by email of course since they have no phone) to find out what was done. And I was kind of surprised with their response as they simply reflashed the firmware.

Of my 2 gauges, this one still seems to be quirky as the last time I drove the car it started the same routine of recycling the start up routine. But a quick unplugging of the OBD cable resolved it.

What type of analog boost set-up are you using? Asking because I am using an analog MAP sensor to read mine that is hooked up directly to the E-force, and the output from the MAP is all that feeds the analog AF input. I did need to find a 5v feed under the hood for the MAP, but nothing else was required on the AF gauge. I will dig up a thread I did for the install to confirm.

I'm using the Aeroforce 3.5Bar Sensor. On the GT500, there is the line that runs from the bottom of the manifold to the fuel rail pressure sensor, so I just T into that, and the sensor is bolted right there. There is three lines... one that goes to ground, one that is the sensor output and then the 12v source.

Anyone care to share what 12v sources they used via SJB such as what Fuse number? I plan to plug all 3 wires into one Add-a-Fuse

For the wideband it needs two 12v sources. I'm probably just stupid and
I can't understand the directions quite well, but I need to confirm what analog input these go into? Red, White or Green? I believe I had them hooked up to the line on the left (if your looking at the back of the gauge). Can't be positive though and I'm not at the shop today.

Any answers on the 12v source in the SJB long with what AMP I should put in the add-a-fuse for 3 (2 for Wideband, 1 for MAP) 12v sensors?

No call back or email response from AeroForce... is there a way to reset the gauge with the jumper pin or something along those lines? I may have accidentally entered the wrong platform on one of them.

Major progress today. Installed compass/auto dim mirror

No luck with gauges still. And Aeroforce is proving to be a pita.

I sent them a private message and will give them till Monday afternoon. If not, I'll be posting on their wall, like how you did.

I just want this fixed - I can't figure out my vac/boost problem without a working gauge.

Sucks to hear about your issues with Aeroforce. My brother had all kinds of issues with his, it would drain his.battery and had issues reading the A/R, it also wouldn't always turn off.

He sent to aeroforce twice they said it was fine and sent it back both times.

Cam: I recently did an aeroforce wideband and boost sensor install on my Bullitt. Not sure how to attach the thread here, but the thread is called "help with aeroforce wideband and boost sensor install". I used fuse location #5 and #13 for the add-a-circuit, in the passenger side kick panel to power the wideband and boost sensor. Also made a wiring harness for the install, so that I did not have to cut into any factory wires. Please let me know if you have any questions about the install, I will do my best to help you out.

Found your thread. - Thanks!

What amps did you put in there for each of them?

I like these gauges a lot since they have all these functions, but I just want the shit to work properly.

Cam, just bumped the thread(with the pics and info.) in the tech section. The one you found, was my other one. For the add-a-circuit, I used one for the wideband and one for the boost sensor. Ran dual 10amp fuses in both.

Thank you for that.

Just left Aeroforce another message on their forums. Let's see if I get a response.

Also called the guy I bought the engine from regarding the supercharger since he said it was all working but it obviously isn't. Waiting to get a call back seeing how he can work with me on this.

Cam, best of luck getting this stuff resolved quickly! There is always something in a build that makes it take longer and cost more than planned. I guess it is true Murphy was an optimist! lol

They've finally decided to message me back on FB

Todd said:
You'll need to email [email protected]. You'll need to be more specific about what's happening. For example, they never worked, the warning lights just blink slowly. Or, they worked but I pushed the buttons when they were powering up and now the lights are flashing quickly like a strobe light, etc. Blinking lights can mean a lot of different things depending on the details.

Todd

I responded by saying I've emailed them and submitted a thread on their forum... to which they've not responded to either yet.

Edit: Just saw a response by Todd on their forum

Todd said:
Sorry to hear about the issue.

When did you email and to what address? We answer all service emails by 8 am each morning. I don't see any that were skipped. If you sent an email later in the day it will be answered early tomorrow am. I already answered your facebook message from today. Now getting to the forum posts. We are very dedicated to customer service and getting back to people with 24 hours or same day (business day of course).

Only thing that comes to mind is a situation we had with American Muscle last January where they had some Ecoboost specific gauges that needed to be reprogrammed to be Mustang compatible. We didn't get these back and I think they sent them out to people. You may have gotten one of these. Anyway, we should get these back and we'll reflash or do whatever is needed and get them back to you. Please return (include cable just in case) with this return form which also has the return address:

http://aeroforcetech.com/files/af_return_2.pdf

We'll make sure everything is in proper working order.

Todd

Hmmm... that's not an especially encouraging response. Sucks that you have to remove them and send them in...

Yeah it does suck since I had to already replace the OBDII cord with a longer one originally and now I have to still send this one back lol.

Did talk to the shop I bought the engine/trans from. They are currently checking to see if they have another BPV available to send me.

Update: The shop is sending me a BPV actuator. Hopefully this will fix the problem.

The AF gauges should have gotten to AF headquarters and should be returned promply.

Still waiting on the OTA pipes... guy I bought them from said they should have arrived yesterday but still hasn't provided me with a tracking #... Need to find a shop or someone to weld my Bullitt tips onto the 12 GT500 mufflers now.

Nothing lately. I've been hardpressed at work since I've been doing more sales lately and it doesn't leave much room for me to make it to the other shop since the dealership I now spend 90% of my time is 45-min away from it.

However, I will be over there tomorrow afternoon to check my mail and see if anything has arrived. Nothing from Aeroforce yet (which would be returned to my home address).
