I PMed the seller yesterday. If he responds I will see if he cares to share his side of the story. Not like I didn't offer to help duece with this. But he would rather make snide comments than to send me the info

thanks for your help. gallagher is working on getting me the only thing that I really want, so I guess this is a dead issue now.

Ok....I simply asked about the charges because they seemed high. Was it due to "your location vs. his location" or did you overnight the shipment or what?

As for me contributing....... :roflmao:

Hey now, *I* dont use apostrophes.

Hope this isn't too "caustic" for you, however, this seams more like a threat to the member than a legit beef. If you still believe that the deal could be handled to your satisfaction, you should never have mentioned it. If it's beyond that point, you should have let all of your bullets fly.

Rep points awarded.

FOR all u wondering it was me... and here was wat i sent back to both the moderator and to deuce ..

this is how i replied..( i doint live on the forum i apoligze )

sorry... i do not live on the boards.. i hop on occasionally like last night ni was on a fopr like a matter of 5 mins ( i left my comp on witch left al lmy webs up so if i was " online " i wasnt.. reagaurdless not the point.. my defense was.. yes i THOUGHT everything was there.. to be honest the rubberboot for the elbow i THOUGHT was the rubber boot that was inside the intake tube itself... the maf screws i forgot/ didnt metnion had broken off from the orginal hence why they were there.... that was MY MISTAKE i have new screws i got from u after my shop told me he didnt package the screws with it for that reason!,, the rubber valve i wasnt even sure if that came with the kit.. when i got the kit i personnally took a quick lok in the box to make sure a majority of it was there and gave it to my shop guyt o install while he did evertything else ... this IS my fault and i do realize that.. i also after looking at this post realized.. i still have that rubber elbow on my new SC kit hence why u dont have it!again something i never even realized until actually looking...so what im going to do is go to my shop look around to find peices that were missing and can get.. again i have new screws for it ....as far as the itrader report goes.. it is wat is it i take full and complete blame for the problems u went through and i woulda went about this the same way u did i will again attempt to get u the peices that are missing so u can fix the kit .. sorry i did not reply yesturday but i was at work and could NOT get into a stupid but querall at work online with all these posts. i again have nothing else to say but im sorry and yes u did say make sure i include EVERYTHING and again i was more worried about shipping ur item out right away as i did! i shiped it that day! u said i didnt ship it right away.. but i did although did not give u the track number till the next day.. sorry..regaurdless again as stated i am going to look for those peices

they are very minor peices ASIDE from the elbow peice witch i completly agree... MY FAULT! all the other pcies such as screws and a pcv hose... VERY obtainable and cost cents.. i ended up payin 56 dollors to ship the item to him TRUE was not completly his fault.. i asked him for 150 including shipping trying to give a good deal aposed to the 200 normal people want.. so is ay 150including shippin!!!! then i get fucked witha 56 dollor shipping charge and he offers nothing as far as shipping goes just outta saying.. wow u really got fucked shipping that ...again not his fault im just bitter in the sense as i bassiaclly sold the cai for 94 bucks ... was it worth it to be missing the elbow peice..? again im not contemplating whos fault it was it was mine i just figured id share wats goign on at my end while every1 else just sees 1 angle . SO as stated i am going to LOOK for the 1 elbow peice and i have the MAF ( new ) if he really needs them and a hose u can get at home depot for wat a dollor at most..im sure if u ask the other guy i sold something to steeda .. udps.. i bet u he will say that he got them EXACTLY how they were described , this was a honest mistake and shouldnt have been brought to the boards when again not every1 lives on the boards and doenst look and have time to reply to shit everyday .. anywyas thanks for ur concern / help... im also NOT looking to ghave my itrader fixed and i also never told him that everything was included as well even tho on my own end i thought it was anyways :beerchug2: thx again! and sorry for this hassel!

sorry for it being so long

Rep points awarded for taking responsibility. That was a very stand up thing to do.

1. Why the hell did shipping cost $56?

2. Why can't you spell correctly?

its called typing fast u smartass .. eathier contribute something usefull or dont say anything at all.. and i dont make the charges if u dont beleave me i can show proof / reciept of the charges

He did contribute something useful. If you slow down and type right then it wouldn't take so long to decipher what your trying to say.

"Professionalism" and respect is what it boils down to really. If no one bothered to waste their time with spelling and grammar we'd look like a bunch of 13 year olds texting each other. A section the rules section of probably my all-time favorite forum sums up my sentiments perfectly (note to Kimmer...you run my favorite Mustang board :) ):

Above all, remain cognizant of the fact that this is an internet message board, and the whole point of this endeavor is to share ideas, theory, thoughts and concepts through the use of the written word. Remember back when you were in high school and thought that English class wasn’t important? You were wrong, Binky; grammar, punctuation, and (with very few exceptions) sentence structure and spelling count for a whole lot here. Language is the method by which you present yourself to the world. If you can’t put a cogent thought together and present it in a manner which demonstrates a working knowledge of grammatical rules, either don’t try it, expect to be judged by your failure, or request tutoring; we have at least one teacher on the board, and I'm sure they'll be glad to help.

Gallagher mix in a paragraph or two your posts are impossible to read and I just give up on them I could be missing out on some viable info because your shit is all jumbled up and stuff and very rarely uses any punctuation to break the post up making it hard to read and stuff I could go on and on about how hard it is to read your non punctuated and paragraphed post but I told my wife Id paint the garage and take out the trash and make sure the dogs are feed and some other nonsense you probably wont read because we live in a txt world that doesnt require proper useage of words and stuff like that did you ever watch abc on saturday mornings conjunction junction and shit like that I know I should be working on phrases and clauses

Im not in english class , im not in/at my job trying to be professional im on a forum im here for tech reasons / pictures of tech related things / buying/selling, so if you guys want to be my spell checker / grammer /english teacher by all means go right ahead but im not going to fix my fast typing / " texting " related typing just to suit u people better... thanks :)

If you are going to try to make fun of how I type you might want to check your own first.

All this soap opera over some screws and $5 silicone boot.

I bought a NOS kit on here and it is missing a few small and inexpensive items to make it work, but I got it for 50% of the new price, so who cares. I'll order the $5 fittings and inline fuse.

You got something for half price or less, you should be happy.

You may say you're kidding, and I know someone's grammar has no direct link to their integrity; but my experience has shown that's not entirely BS...

I know it's a message board, and I'd never want to be the grammar police, but when you can't understand what someone is trying to get across because it looks like a 3rd grader wrote it, I think pointing that out is ok.

Personally, I didn't even bother to read the post in question because of that. I'm willing to bet that 99% of us are high school graduates on this board. A paragraph and semi decent punctuation here and there isn't too much to ask, but that's just me.

:oops1:.. you got me there:thud:
What is interesting is that even though I had two "your"... my point still came across and was easily readable.
(The fact that you replied to my post proves that).
I'm not making fun of you, just letting you know your posts are difficult to read at times. :beerchug2:

Its true. I dont use apostrophes, mispell words, have run-on sentences, make up words, and sometimes replace one period with three, but as long as the majority of the sentences and paragraphs are intelligible, people will read your post, and not scrutinize your writing... Damn that was a long sentence.

DusterRT: I've found it to be true too, but only with people who write completely like they text. Guys who just dont check their posts like they are turning them in to a professor are usually fine. I've only had one ebay auction go bad on me, and it was written like it was a text message.
