So I'm just about to install QA1 Bump steer kit,

Been searching for info and found factory install instructions (which btw are very close to the STEEDA 's) .

I have found pics that S197 owners have posted and some show most of the washers on top of rod end while some show most of the washers below rod end.....Is there that much difference in suspension setups?

However every instructions and tutorials i have found mention adjusting tie rod shaft/tie rod assy as parrallel to control arm as possible to be in the right ballpark...do you need to put load on suspension to adjust this?

any info / pics on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure you need them? Most lowered s197s I've seen didn't need the after moderate lowering. Unless you have it really low, longer balljoints, or for some reason the steering wheel is jerking bad on bumps, you don't need it.

If you really REALLY do... A good start is to have the control arm parallel with the tie rod. You can use a jack and string technique to measure bumpsteer, check YouTube.

But I bet you don't really need it. ;)
