I just bought a set of 18x9 cobra wheels for 99-04 mustang. One of them is damaged but at 125 for the full set, it was hard to pass up what appeared to me as a good deal. However, my car is a 2007. Will these wheels fit on my car?

you bought wheels THEN ask if they'll fit ? Hahaha, the bolt pattern is the same but the back spacing is different. If I remember they will fit a S197 but S197 wheels don't fit an SN95 ? Mount 1 up, you'll know in a hurry if it fits or not right ?

Yep, it will look hella gay, it's a pretty big difference in offset.

It will look like those little hondas with the 10" rims that stick out half a foot lol.

Yep. The guy I sold my stock wheels to put them on a 99. Now that looked funny, lol They were way tucked in. I don't think he was even able to run them it was so bad.

I've seen people running 99-04 wheels that look awesome. On one of the forums, there's a guy with a black GT running 99-04 Saleens and they look amazing. Are the offsets different for some?

I'll dig up a couple pictures.

Not sure, but what I've seen is like stated above, about 2" sticking out

looks great ! So you can do 99-04 wheels on the S197, but not vice versa. The earlier wheels have a different offset. I'm guessing the S197 wheel backspacing would set the wheels way under a SN95 then.

Up to 9" wide, once you get into 10's and 10.5's they'll stick out too far

holy misinformation batman.

94-04 offset on a 9" rim makes your rim flush with the fender lip, rather than tucked like they are stock. unless you're looking to slam the car, this look is emerging as a very popular way to go.
