You would probably pass as is as long as your rear o2's are turned on. If you really want to make sure, call your tuner and have him do an etest tune for you.

I had to go back to stock personally. My tuner sent me a few different tune files, but everyone would not have to 02's on resulting in a fail. Do you have to smog or obii, they are totally different.

are they that strict in California? They didn't even pop the hood on my car here, or even care it seemed when my car wouldn't pass

If your intake even LOOKS shiny, you won't pass visual in CA. (depending on where you go)

But yes, CA is strict... They're the reason why smogging is required.

So I can return car to stock, then have them smog test it. Wouldn't it hurt the car tho if I run the car in stock tune and it has bolt on mods on it. I need a smog for my registration . Any recommendation thanx for the help.

dude i'm going to slap you!!! i told you in another forum.

you'll damage the motor running your stock tune with your bolt ons on

you'll run way too lean and can damage your motor

you'll run way too lean and fail emissions testing when the do the actuall sniffer test.

PUT IT BACK TO ALL STOCK
