If I'm understanding you correctly, you're looking for a set of resonators before the rear axle, as well as in place of the axlebacks? If so, this is exactly what you're looking for: http://www.americanmuscle.com/pypes-midmuffler-catback-0510gt.html

Thanks for the link, I didn't know they had one with resonators. I'll have to find some vids.

I would need some custom work from the axle pipe back to weld in some resonators and duel tips for my Heritage bumper.
Unless I can find duel tips with resonators?

For a complete custom job I would have some options on the mufflers.

You know I had a set of M80's welded in just before the rear axle to help with a bit of trumpeting and droning. Had a local shop do it for me, and tighten down the clamps and align the tips on my SSS exhaust all for $50. I just brought them the M80's

If found two "bullet race mufflers" :

For around 89$ a piece new on eBay. They reduce the noise by 4dB and eliminate the popping and trumpeting of my SLP Loudmouths. I mounted them right in front of the h-pipe like this:

Anyone used Hi Flow cats... i had been waiting to save up a few dollars to do the Resonators, now the wife says she cant stand the smell in the garage anymore. I am thinking i may go this route with the Hi Flow cats instead. I would like to see how the weld in Hi Flows on an ORH sound with the Mac Axlebacks mufflers. i found a video on youtube and sounds pretty good. Anyone know anything about HI FLOWS? I am new to this

I've never had them, but I thought you still got a little smell with the hi-flows

Could be 100% wrong here though

Can't remember for sure but when I had my HF cats there wasn't really a smell, or at least not as strong as an O/R X like I currently have.

S197gt07 I remember I used to live right down the road from where u r in Groveland before moving to FL. It is nice not having inspections, but the amount of cars here without working tailights and brakelights is stupid!

Hey guys,
I have an 08 GT with an ORH and Mac axleback mufflers. I like the sound but it is a little to loud for my townhouse neighborhood (i guess not everyone has as good of taste as mustang fans). whats the best way to quiet it down, maybe quiet it about 10-20%?

Would Hi flow cats do it ? should i try resonators?
Not to be a smartass, but find some new neighbors.

Right now I'm running stock manifolds, Magnaflow Catted X and Magnaflow Magnapacks. Car is almost too quiet at idle to be honest. No fuel smell whatsoever IMO, Can't really compare given that I have never run catless, but, I do know what other cars have smelt like when running O/R pipes and Cats will definetly quiet it up and reduce the smell. For Police, a dead giveaway that a car is running punched or no cats is the smell and have seen lots of guys pulled over because of that. Take that for what its worth.

I have FRPP shortys, Magnaflow catted X, and currently have GT500 axle backs on it. I had SSS Terminators and it was crazy loud, I tried GTA's and they were still too loud for me though, especially on cold starts. I do have a smell, not as bad as off road, but it's there, and I'm leak free.

If you can swing it, you could get electric cut outs? That way you can be extremely quiet in the neighborhood and then open it up whenever you want
