Hey guys. I recently got some Shelby CS40 wheels. 20x10's on the rear. I've got 285/30's on the rear. They look kinda small (side wall).

What size rear tires are you guys running?? I'm thinking of a 315/35 might fill out the wheel and my need for a little more side wall.

The Saleens run a 275 / 40, and some have stepped up to a 305 with success on 'standard' wheels but the 315's I've seen that worked were more of a custom offset to prevent rubbing. The offset on the Saleen wheels is a 50 on the 20 x 10.

What you want to do is have the Viper 345 mm width Pilot Sports taken to a place that narrows tires. If you start with a 345 and narrow it to 305 you will have a lot more rubber on the road than a standard 305.

315-35-20 looks great, theres a guys with a Red Saleen on the Forum (i forget his SN) running them on a 20x10 wheel and it fills up the fender well really nice.

Might have a slight problem with air retention...........

I know most people are looking for the absolute most tire possible but I run 275-35s and they work out pretty good.
