Relocate EVAP system?

has anyone ever tried to relocate the EVAP system so they could get rid of that huge anchor weight hanging under the bottom of our cars?

Or what about deleting the EVAP system completely out of the tune and going back to a vented gas cap?

I know how it works. and how to remove it. just didn't know if anyone a permently removed it from the car.

that's what I'm looking at doing.

Funny thing is I searched it first and none of that pulled up and I had the other one save in my links . I do try Doc...
