Please discuss your experience.

I noticed on Matt's thread most people are not using the relocation brackets and popping off good 60's.:beerchug2:

if your car is lowered they help correct the geometry of your rear suspension.

Just dont run too big of a rear sway bar on the CHE relocation brakets or they will rub.

I have the BMR's... I think they have worked really well for me, helped eliminate my excessive squat. The energy previously lost through squat is now being used to propel the car forward. With a prepped track I usually get low 1.6s spinning first. With some fat 28's I'm sure the 60 would go down even more. If you have alot of squat going on, imo I would recommend them. Despite that idea though, there are guys out there hitting good 60s without em.

For me while running NA, not a big deal without them. But after FI they were a huge part of regaining traction. I run the BMR's bolted as well with zero issue with them.

So even though my car isn't lowered, if I get the LCA relo brackets they will help reduce the squat I'm getting? That's my current issue, when I launch the rear violently slams up, the bumpstops hit hard and I end up loosing traction.

I also just ordered the spohn poly bushing replacement for the UCA mount on top of the differential. The rubber one that's there is just mush now and it's also allowing extra movement.

I know I've got to get some Qa1's for the back, but I'm tight on the $$$ at the moment after just doing the supercharger.

You sir, are one of the exceptions :beerdrink:, although I do think those cj springs helped out a little.

To answer your question... yes they will help reduce squat. If you would like an example, you can check out my track night vids posted under pics/vids section... the third video gives you a good view of my launch. I get a little squat with the cj's and tokicos, but nothing to crazy that it hits the bumpstops.

I'll check the vids out. Are you stick or auto?

For now I'm going to cross my fingers and hope that the poly bushing for the diff/uca mount, some che anti-squat brackets and new take off replacement shocks will stop my problem for now.

I know my rear shocks are done so hopefully the take-off ones will hold me over until I can get the QA1's.

That should do the trick, I'm stick.

i had the problem with hitting the bumpstops then blowing tires off. i just cut the bump stop down to where its only an inch thick. i have blown out shocks, steeda springs, and 26x10.5x15s. went from 1.82 60s to 1.73 60s. now im hitting the little cover on the gas tank. im ordering qa1s and relo brackets this week.

Thats what I thought as well. But UMI has the traction package? Just looks like LCA's with Relocation brackets.

I have the UMI traction package, and the upper control arm. I dont know about the traction at the track yet because I have not been yet but these really help with the ride quality. Takes bumps much better and leaves straighter under hard throttle.

btw the car is lowered
