I just had my hood and stripes painted on my car to replace the shit quality vinyl and scoop that Shelby installed and decided to repaint the whole car while I was at it. I went back the 3" Kaenan cowl, and was plesantly surprised at the fit and quality of their hoods and also added the SHR flush mount 1/4 louvers. Just waiting on the new windshield that you have to buy in order to get the moulding you need to get it reinstalled, you read that right, you can't get the moulding for a coupe without buying a whole new windshield.

The car looks excellant so far. I don't know much about paint and body work but, i really dig how they taped the paper down to the floor to prevent overspray. Looks to me u chose an A+ body shop. Can't wait to see the finished product. Please keep us updated.

Much did the paint job cost? I plan on getting my car repainted and painting the stripes I have on it also to get rid of the vinyl ones.

About $4,500, I have a little more in mine because of some extra stuff I had done but that's about what the quotes ran for what I originally wanted to have done.

Looks good.
Painted stripes are so much better than vinyl.
Now you need to wait for the first rock chip.
Then you can relax a bit.
Got my first a month after the repaint.
Front airdam is a rock magnet.

That looks really good... personally I never liked the scoop that came on the Shelby GT's. The cowl looks much meaner, and for repainting the car - I think it is definitely worth the money.
