Has anyone heard of any problems with using Royal Purple oil in the -2005-2009 4.0liter or 4.6 ..... there is some rumers that it can damage the motor. Please let me know

OP, no it is a quality oil. And just a word of advice. I would use the search function before you make a new thread or bust out the flame suit dude. These guys can get pretty rough.

It's not the worst, but certainly not the best.

I went from Mobil 1 to RP and now Amsoil...

Never had any problems with any of the above... Although the RP did seem to thin out at the end of it's life... ~7k miles.

It's all I use in my car. From there Power steering fluid to the tranny fluidl to there engine oil. I even use it in the rear end. My car bleeds purple and I've never had a problem.

i beg to differ. if your car bleeds purple you do have a problem

Eneos, Motul, Amsoil, Redline are what I usually only use.

I used Schaeffer gear oil in the rear of my 2000. Good stuff.

I've heard questionable things about it on bobistheoilguy or whatever that site's called, my car just gets amsoil or mobile 1

Such as? I couldn't find anything extremely negative on the site. So many of those tests are sponsored by Amsoil that I just don't wholly trust the results. If some independent firm would test just because, I'd like to see the results.
