I would definitely not recommend them for a daily driver, but they're not terrible on the street. They dust like crazy and screech like nails on a chalkboard when the rotors don't have a good pad transfer layer, so I'd only recommend them for track use. At track events, they provide great braking torque, but I only have experience with Hawk pads, so I can't comment about how they compare to other brands.
I used Hawk HPS pads on my old Civic for tens of thousands of miles and loved them, so I imagine they'd be fine in this application too. I wouldn't want something aggressive for street use anyway since this brake package with DTC-60/70 pads is REALLY touchy. With DTC pads, it's pretty difficult to heel/toe downshift on the street if you don't want to stop quickly, but it was no problem with the Centric (Stoptech) pads that I got with the calipers.
I keep DTC-60 pads on the rear since one set will last me at least half of a season, and they don't bother me since my Mustang is a dedicated track car. I might try dropping down to an HT-10 compound since the rear end wanders around a lot with DTC-60's on both axles. I'm still experimenting with alternating between DTC-60 and DTC-70 pads to see what combination suits me best.
