shaker hood

I am probably in the wrong section here but.. I had posted a few weeks ago about my 3" cowl hood being messed up. Well I took it back to the shop and they ordered a new hood. Well that hood was worse. So they bought me a metal boss style hood. It has the preforations for the shaker underneath. My question is I found a wrecked mach 1 I think it is 03 will the shaker system from it work on my 05? The guy only wants 150.00 for everything. So if it does I come out a lot cheaper.

i really highly doubt it'll work.

Thanks for the fast responce guys. Last thing I want to do is hack up my new hood and then realize it is going to look bad again until I order another part.

It will not fit without some serious fabrication, as far as I know.

Will not work in any way shape or form. Serious fabrication wouldn't even begin to describe what it would take to work.

So since it obviously isn't going to work, anyone know where I can get the shaker system from my car? For a decent price?

Anyplace that sells mustang parts usually have it... Sometimes you can find them used for cheap.

Check Ebay bought one from Blue Oval industries brand new and $595.00 delivered couple weeks ago.

I got mine on eBay in 2007 for under $500 NIB. You might need to shop around and bid on several to get a good price on eBay.

You can Google CDC shaker and query for retail price.

I love my shaker and have had no problems in 3 years. It is a pretty simple install with proper tools and preperation.

You will need to do some minor fabrication to make a shaker work with aftermarket CAIs.

Here's mine with a JLT CAI.

And with my previous K&N CAI.
