Some of you may remember the "GT800R" we built last year. For those who don't know the car, it can be seen here.

Runs were made at full weight (4120 lbs. w/ driver), stock clutch, stock TR6060 trans on a M/T 325/50/15 Drag Radial with 20's up front and Eibach lowering springs. It's a true driver, that also gets raced a lot.

Those times are insane, especially when you consider those 60' times.

How did he not get kicked off the track with a bar running 9.80s? Some tracks are a little bit more laid back then others, but once your in the 9s all of the tracks I go to become very strict.

Nevermind, I was looking at the pictures in which its clearly a bar, but I notice in the mod list you list a 6 point cage.

I think it's insane that the stock clutch and trans are holding up... the car isn't babied :D

He had a C5 Corvette that ran high 8's with a bar. Not sure...

I have seen this car in person and I can tell you it is awesome. The owner is real cool as well. I'm not positive, but I think this car still has the stock rims on the front of the car. Skinnies would help a little more.
