I think it looks great. The matte black matches the lower trim and your wheels. Now put the updated 13-14 Raxiom tail lights on and your snake will be perfect.

You read my mind! I completely agree, those are actually next on my exterior mod list along with lightly tinting the rear markers and some switchbacks up front.

Those stripes on the front look right. I'd obsess about the taillight panel stripes. It would bug me. Your roof stripes look good too from what's visible in the pictures.

Love that color blue.

That is new sig pic material!^^^

You beat me to it, haha. I was actually prepping that pic for a new sig.

Hmm... Not trying to argue as I am genuinely curious. What do you see in the decklid panel that is different between the two shots? Now that I am comparing shots, it looks like my license plate stripes should have come in some more. I am reordering the hood pieces as I made a small buubuu on each, I may just order those two license plate stripes as well! Thanks for bringing it up. It's not a huge deal, but much like you, these little things drive me nuts, lol.

They look wrong to me on the red car too. Your bumper stripes actually look right IMO. I'd tweak the tail light panel stripes and call it done.

Damn details. LOL! Sometimes they take over my brain.

I don't. But I explain it as this....the outer edge of each panel stripe (nearest the respective taillight) should ever so slightly bow out or be wider. it could be as small as 1/8" maybe even just 1/16". But not perfectly straight. If I had photoshop skills I'd draw it. I have no such skills.

Hard to capture, but I know exactly what you are talking about. They find the middle ground of looking straight and aligning with the diagonal line of the trunk/taillight edge

Side note - I'll be that guy who objects to the stripe addition. But I can't ignore that they do look good.

Understood, thanks for the explanation.

Thanks Cam. I figured you wouldn't be for the stripes, but it means a lot that they still look good in your eyes.

Stripes look great!

Thanks! Your sig pic is making me want to make the jump to air, lol. Your car looks sweet.

Like you would let vinyl touch that paint, hell you barely let the sun do that.

OP - did you take the Shelby badges off to lay the vinyl?

I only removed/reinstalled the letters. Stripes had a cut out for the rear medallion so I didn't remove that.

That looks awesome man! I never knew about the different stripe widths throughout the car. I've always wondered why stripes put on aftermarket looked so awkward.

Nice. Love the look

Looks real nice !

Very nice. That's a combo you don't see often, and it looks great.

Thanks everyone!

I knew you would come around to the stripes

I have to admit seeing your car with the matte black did help with my decision!

Thanks! I was real keen on getting the factory specification stripes for the reason you have mentioned
