Hell those things probably have more postal miles on them than drive miles.

Since I have worked on my car more then 2 times :thud: there is nothing too new to post in the tech section so I will keep everything here.

Well yesterday in 100+ deg heat started to tear down the car a little more. The mission is to swap things over to the NEW STY II. Though this sounds simple to you bad ass money mechanics, things are a little different in my world. With one year of high school auto shop, tippin close to 300lbs and natural laziness things are a little bit harder to get done.

Step one was to take off the busted/tweeked stuff like the hood, front/back bumper, both fenders.

Yesterday we took out the parts we planned to swap with the new stang.
Springs, Rear end(w/ 4.10's and true track) , Upper/ lower control arms , adj shocks , drive shaft and loop, 5.0 shifter, H-pipe with bung welded in also took out most of the procharger crap..

Issue I have other then this F'ed up heat. Is

1) since the rear end is out is there a why to see if the axle is bent from the accident? By looking at it I dont see anything tweeked or bent, but does some one have a way of checking.. someone told me I can put the thing on jacks and try to spin the disks to see if they wobble?

2) since we yanked out the spyder DS should I need to do anything to put it in the new car?

After almost dieing in the garage I walked in my house to see this!!

dont worry.. yours are on the side of the house.. thoughs are my new rims. back got a little nicked but its ok. I'm more worried about the rear end then the cheap rims.

I'm not talking about the Raceline GTs, I'm talking about the 2 stock charcoal rims that were still good. Remember? You didn't want to trade away your 6 black ones because you are "the gay"?
