ok so am getting this right, the v3 from brenspeed will give me more HP and be more reliable than getting all this other crap done??? I saw on their website that the v3 is like $3900+$600 for install. So really for $4500, I can get 150HP and have better reliability than individual components that will only add roughly 50hp?

yes, that is why i pointed out going with a supercharger.. we even do BEFORE and AFTER dyno pulls to show your increase.

The exhaust components will help whether or not you stay NA or go FI but you can do that down the line..while it is not required it is a good idea to get a re-tune after major part installs.

If you are going FI I recommend not getting the HR cams and either staying with the stock cams or buying blower specific cams...this depends on your budget as you can buy cams that are a direct swap that you can do yourself or you can buy cams that require a spring upgrade which require special tools/knoweldge to do and depending on your skill level you will have to pay someone for that install.

If you are going FI don't waste your money on the CAI as it won't work with a SC.

Check to see if the V3 comes with a handheld tuner, if it does obviously you don't need to buy one...but check to see what brand it is and if the place you are going to have it tuned supports it.

If you buy the V3 the install is easy, esp since you don't have to tap your oil pan; if you have mechanical knowledge/friends that can help you can have it on in a day. If you can't do it you need to budget in the costs of having a shop do the install.

Check to see if the SC kit has a BAP; modding and boost are addictive and you will want more and more, it is easy to forget about your fuel system until your tuner tells you no more power due to the injectors/pump being maxed out.

Man thats a ton of good information to have. Im seriously considering just going with brenspeed 3v. Seems like the most bang for the buck. I want to keep this as maintenance free as possible and someone else said that this would be the most reliable way to go.

If you can afford it do the exhaust at the same time as the FI or NA mods; if you stay NA the cams/LT's compliment each other but either way if you do the exhaust work at the same time you are only paying for one tune vice install parts, tune, install more parts, re-tune, etc...and some vendors will give a discount the more you spend.

The V3 is not maitenance free as the oil needs changed in the s/c but that is pretty easy.

Not all SC kits include a CAI or make it where you cant use one. Unless you buy the higher "stage" Saleen kits they use the stock airbox. I will be using my Steeda CAI with a 90mm MAF to connect to my Saleen SC.

I'm sure our sponsors could be very competitive on pricing.
