so I'm in some need of guidance for the direction of my mustang (3v) that im building.

right now i have a fully built block with a 9.1 compression, stg 3 ported heads, stg 3 blower cams, NITROUS and WHIPPLE 2.3 (steeda 20# pulley setup) (e85 fed)

I recently just got offered a whipple 3.4 that evolution did the custom crusher inlet on for 3500 bucks. comes with blower, pulley, monoblade, intake/maf.
I'm thinking of selling the nitrous and 2.3 with steeda hardware to get the 3.4 and getting more power with only boost.

questions.
1 is it worth it?
2 how much do you think the conversion will be for the 3v
3 do i just need to be happy with what i've got?? lol

also would it be better and easier just to go turbo??

How much power does your car make now? What are your goals for the car? I would think your car has low 10's as is even w/o the nitrous. Do you want it to be any faster?

Hard decision to make since you haven't even seen what it can do with what you've got!

Ive contemplated the same thing as i have the exact same setup as you, minus the nitrous. But from what ive heard, its a pain to get the blower on. You have to notch the back of the engine bay. Im more than happy with my setup as it sits now. Id say leave it alone, and be happy with it

Man after all the trouble you have had with your build and seemingly it is almost done you are ready to already to scrap it and try something else... Man whatever you choose keep me updated!

last time i called whipple i was asking about a 2.9L compressor and it seems they are making a conversion kit to convert our 05-10 2.3 whipples to 2.9L. I would check that out to see how far along they are. Isnt the 3.4L going to be overkill?

I asked them if they had an idea on a release date or price when I bought my 2.3. They said they didn't have a release date or price yet so I wasn't going to sit around for months waiting for a 2.9 to come out. I figure even if they do release something in the next couple months(which I doubt) I could sell my 2.3 to off set most of the cost anyway.

In my situation im willing to wait, not sure of the OP's situation. But like i said before, i dont know if the 3.4 would be overkill or not.
