Bwahahaha!

Seriously though -ED- it takes alot to come back from a crash like you have had and come back to go not just a little bit faster, but ALOT faster. I salute you for that--- so just realize we are just busting your balls.

I wrecked my Shelby at Irwindale. Paid the tab on that out of pocket so no more racing for me.

Ok, so is the boost coming in too fast or is that happening because you are driving out of the groove? On the second pass where you get really sideways it looks like you are pretty close to the wall--which means you are out of the groove.

Paul, is a combination of things but it most likely is that i am correcting the car too much and at that speed i probably shouldt, is not the same to correct the car at a slow speed than going this fast. also i dont know and to be honest i never gave attention to my front tires but they are a radial street tire, i really dont know how much of a factor they could play on this but i have a list of things i want to do as the budget allows.

front m/t runner
drag strut
drag racing wing

just to have all the data on my thread...

Strange Double Adjustable Drag Shocks on deck! This things are super nice! They should help us get that '60 down a little more, The Tokicos did great for me but is time to put them up for sale!

I have the rear ones, but I am still all stock up front. I think I need to change that.

I am goint to try with the front tokicos first before I trow more money at the car, we are going next thurs and will have Greg give the car some hits, he is a better and more experienced driver than me. Hopefully it goes straight as an arrow and I just need to work on my driving techniques.

Sounds good man. Keep an eye on your motor mount adapters where they bolt onto the block with those solid mounts. There is a lot of stress in that area when launching when using solid motor mounts. With your power level you might look into motor and mid plates.

Overkill Fabricaton (La Verne) was going to do some for me but I decided on motor mounts instead.

anyone makes plates for s197s?
I'm not sure of anyone that makes them specifically, but 2v ones should be the same. I'll be making my own to clear my a/c. I haven't had problems with motor mounts on mine, but I have seen some that did which is why i'm going to run plates. I just like to prevent any potential issues when I can.
