With how big of a pain it is to replace I may just wait until it destroys the bushing lol.

Ironically, I just installed that same UCA & Mount on my 2011 GT yesterday, on jackstands with hand tools. It wasn't bad. I'll probably wait to do the housing bushing when I do the LCA brackets and weld the axle tubes.

Sharad is the one who mentioned the factory bushing issue yet it doesn't look like their system addresses this. I'm waiting for his response here.

That's a nice looking part. Out of curiosity does it add much noise or harshness on the street?

Thanks. It absolutely DOES add noise on the street. How much is relative. Most people would say, "eh, turn up the radio another notch, you'll never hear the bearing." But some people are like "ermehgerd! My ears are bleeding! Take it out!"

To me, if it's a daily driver which sees lots of miles, I'd skip it. But if it's a street strip car, it's totally worth it.

Thanks for all the input. Come tax return time the list stands with an UCA and mount, new bushing (preferably poly), diff brace, diff cover, new diff, and possibly a clutch. Time to hunt down brands and find what I like.

Good plan! Keep in mind that UPR Products carry a Lifetime Guarantee and I can give you a nice forum discount.
