Because its fucking cheap looking and most applications I've seen look like ass. If your going to wrap something, wrap a present. If you can afford a 35K + car you can afford to put a kick ass beautiful paint job on it. There is a good reason you don't see classic hot rods wrapped up in this shit. I know, I know...someone will link a photo of a 69 Camaro wrapped any moment. JMO.

If you can afford a $35k+ car, you can also afford some real big brakes, not some cheap covers. You don't see classics wrapped often, because people are painting those cars regardless. There's a good chance it already needed body work, that's why they can go ahead and paint it whatever color they want. Why would I strip down a brand new car and paint it, when I could vinyl wrap it and make it look just as good, if not better, then remove it whenever I want to sell the car.

Glad to see you love wrap so much. PM me your address so I can "wrap up" and send you a set of those awesome caliper covers like I have. Might even add a little HP to your Boss.:LMAO:

I saw a saleen s197 in mystichrome somewhere, and it didn't resonate very well with the look of the car.

I think something along a more sinister line would be what the doctor ordered...

You mean this?

I've seen this car a few times and am undecided on it. Nice to look at in the shows, but personally couldn't live with it.

Oh, and that's a metallic pink Saleen right behind it. Now I know why those awful cars were at the show this weekend....so I could post in this thread! :highfive:

Haha I don't love it that much, I just don't like people talking bad about it when they really haven't tried it themselves. To each his own, I suppose.

The only thing with paint is going to be the resale of the car. You would have to find that one person in your area that really wants to spend that much money on a car with that paint job. I like it but bc it's not a very desirable color it will definitely sway potential buyers away from the car.

With the new stuff we have to change the way a car looks for a fraction of the cost and to add that it can be put back to it's original form with no harm that seems like an all around better option to me.

Smart decision Cam.

Allegedly, wrapping doesn't damage the paint. Allegedly. I have heard that the longer the wrap is on the car, the harder it is to take off, and the more glue and crap is left on the paint.

I bet it won't last 6 months before Cam changes his mind and does something different. That glue won't even have time to set up before it gets yanked! :thumb2:
