IMO, the colorshift of the 04 Mystic is much better than the 96.



Me either. I'm 100% on changing the color of the car sooner or later. I've narrowed it to a couple colors but need to sit on the idea some more.

I have to ask, why did you order a black gt500 if you don't like black cars? I love Mustang's in black!

Not sure how I'd feel about that color on your Shelby Cam. I like that color on the older cobras but not on the current styles. I've always hated it on s197s. I was at fabulous fords yesterday and there were a couple cars with unique wraps I liked. One that stood out was this twin turbo 5.0 wrapped in the brushed aluminum wrap. You probably seen me post it on my IG. I'd rather see you wrap your car with a unique wrap, or even past I dip it, than spend a fortune on chameleon paint that you'd have to repaint if you decided you didn't like the look after a month or so.

I do agree with you about wraps around the edges of some panels. I hated how my ss stripe had creases and overlaps on the hood and front bumper. I noticed this a lot on a few cars at the show, including the brushed aluminum one.

I'd wrap it, like Abdulla did with his GT500. It would look sick, and if/when you sell it, just peel the wrap and the paint underneath will be like new. And if you get tired of it, you could always change it up a lot easier than a repaint.

The wrap or the wrap job? Wrap job was messed up in a few places. I overheard the owner saying the guy who wrapped it had like 18 years experience or something. Didn't look like it, but the BA look looked good in person.

Funny story. I couldn't find a new 09 Bullitt easy at the end of 2009 and found the Black 09 for a great price since it had roof damage and needed to be repaired. I didn't order the 2013, it was a stock order I stumbled upon and for what I paid, black was not an issue to deal with.

I hate black, but it looks so nice when cleaned up. I'm just a barbarian when it comes to it though, I do more harm than good. lol

I saw this wrap on a 2014 Jeep SRT8 two weeks ago. Looked cool but upon closer view it just had problems with the creases staying put. I'd never pick that wrap for myself though... it's just odd for some reason.

I'm still not really interested in P-dipping the gt500 as I'm already planning something for the Bullitt since the paint it really f-d up on it and needs a repaint in the future.

I appreciate the opinions guys and I think you may have swayed me out of doing something this nuts... I guess what's left is for me to come up with a wrap for it.... matte pearl white or dark metallic grey.... and then if that goes to fruition I'll powdercoat my wheels another color.

I def recommend wrapping it and selling it to me for 20k in a year

All joking a side, the last thing you want to do is paint the car and spend a ton of money and end up hating it. And stop buying black cars if you don't like the color
