Well i recently got tired of having absolutely zero trunk space, so I decided to do something about it. I ordered a Zenclosure dual 12" sealed subwoofer enclosure.

It came very nicely packed with lots of bubble wrap layered multiple times. The box was in excellent condition and looks very professional. The carpet is not a perfect match, but it is very well put together.

Its a very clean and tight fit. I drove around with it in, without subs, and it stayed in place well.

Now for the amplifiers. These are the bad boys I'll be using.

Kenwood Kac-9105d: will be running this at 2 ohms and putting out 900 watts rms.
Jl audio J2 320.4: running this through 4 infinity reference 6x8" speakers at 60 watts rms per channel.

This is a view of how i have the amps set up and wired. I know its a little messy but it'll clean up nicely.

The box has enough room between the back and the seatbacks to mount both amps and still allow them room to breathe.

I'll be putting in 2 12" Kenwood Kfc-w1303ps subwoofers tomorrow when they arrive. They should sound great!

how easy is it to remove the box? I'm contemplating something like this, but want to be able to have the pass-through if i need it.

It took me about 2 minutes to get the box in by myself, so i'd imagine less time to remove. Thats with the box unloaded.

ZenClosures are worth every single penny, I have the exact same one you ordered and I love it........but I'm debating on dropping down and getting 3 tens......the 12s can be a little too much to handle sometimes. I love bass but I dont like it when it sounds like someone is trapped in my trunk

Well I'm hoping these 2 12's on 900w will be enough for me. I'm coming from an re audio sxx ported at 38hz on 1000 watts. I hit 139db on a TL at a local competition. I like big bass. I'm hoping the extra displacement will make up for the subs being sealed.

The enclosure is definitely awesome. And their packing, shipping, and customer service are great as well.

Make sure to use plenty of pillow stuffing.

About 1lb. per cubic foot.

It will not hit as low as the ported enclosure, but the bass will be tighter.

I had to bolt my Zenclosure box down because it would go flying when I would drive the car hard.

Aslong as your not going hard, they will stay in place after you have the subs and amp installed on the box, there is enough to keep it in place. But like Long said.......eventually you will start thinking about bolting it down....again MINE only slides around a COUPLE of inchs when I'm out driving the car like I stole it, which is not very often

The enclosure is actually 1.25ft^3 which is EXACTLY what Kenwood recommends for this subwoofer.

I'm over my Rap/hip-hop high school phase, so I'm looking forward to some good, clean, tight bass.

I had to bolt my Zenclosure box down because it would go flying when I would drive the car hard.

I actually went out and drove the car quite hard (several hard turns, WOT from a dig, and a donut or two) and the box stayed firmly in place. That was without having the subwoofers installed, which I would think would make the box even harder to move.
