Well, went to the track yesterday and my clutch is slipping bad! First time to the track with this setup and only a 1k miles on it. Brenspeed broke the clutch in after they installed it then dynoed the car at 501rwhp. Does anyone know what the deal is with this? I think im going to put a lentech in. I added a picture of the clutch.

Haven't heard anything good about the spec 3's, but people seem to like the spec 3+ clutches for the most part.

i never had one issue with a spec clutch, either the 3+ or the p trim supertwin. only one i had an issue with was the stock clutch and the stock gt500 clutch. you cant get the regular series clutches from spec. you need the "+" series clutches. its a well known fact now.

Yes I have never heard much gooid about Spec. A few get lucky but many dont, it wasnt worth the hassle for me. I decided the extra money for an RST was worth it to not have any issues. And then I ended up having a prob with the input shaft and had to take the RST out. Not sure what caused it, but since the RST went back in I havent had any issues.

Honestly with the way clutches are on these cars I think a TR6060 or 4r70w may be in my future.

Sorry i do have the 3+. I talked to brenspeed yesterday and they said to take it apart and take pictures and they will talk to spec about it. Has anyone had any experience with spec and do they back there products? I'm I wasting my time should I go with a different clutch? I still haven't put my stroker motor in yet and im already having problems.

spec will tell you to pay for shipping, they inspec it. then they will tell you they will give u a deal thats still not that great. I have dealt with them 3 times. my stage 3+ lasted 2 weeks. toasted it at the track first run. then another 400 bucks with them, their great discount they gave, and that clutch lasted a few days.

Buy something else and save your time. they do not back thier products

spec = worse customer service in the world. They will take absolutely no responsibility for product defect (at least not with my experience)
