splice in X pipes........

ok for THOSE that HAVE them, i know that theres a good amount of companies making them now, those of you that installed them, did you notice the car any louder? i know the tone might change but i wanna know if the car gets louder? i want more sound from my stingers but want to stay legal and not have to worry about emmisions since my state is strict.

so if you have a splice or clamp in X pipe, did it make your car louder and or which x do you have installed?

It will be a different tone, but not much louder, I had one and got a bassani catted x with hi flow cats that really made a difference in sound, no matter what you do the sound is muffled by the stock cats and they are pretty restrictive compare dto aftermarket ones. you can see when you take them off.

I have the Pypes splice-in x. Tone is higher pitched and quieter than the factory h. Most times I wish i had the h back. You don't feel any improvement either. This is thru stock cats and SLP Loudmouths. Splice-in x with an NA car, in my opinion, isn't even worth doing unless you like the tone.
