We installed the Eiback Sportlines springs today, and DAMN does it look awesome. Unfortunately though, when I turn the wheel all the way theres only like 1/4" clearance between the wheel and the fender. THIS SUCKS!!!!!!! Maybe I'll try to add some Isolators or something? Anyone else running low springs with 20's have any suggestions?

I have the eibach prokits and 20's without any problems. I like the idea of adding rubber hose to the bottom of the spring. It will give you some added clearance and prevent any rubbing noise.

Ok, I'm running 275/35/20's up front, so I guess that's my problem. This sucks! Anyways, here are some more pics. (Keep in mind only the fronts are sportlines, the rears are still the Saleen springs)

Yes, I know the car is filthy, our Auto-X was in the rain this weekend =)

correction I am also running 275 up front. But the steeda sport did not lower the car that much and I put the hose over the ends of the spring. I had been told that was needed for a 275 up front...

Well, I installed the rear sportlines today and they look great.

On the front, I put some thick ass isolators on the bottom AND the top yet somehow it really didn't help much at all. I guess I'm going back to the Saleen springs up front

I'll put the sportlines back up front when I get new tires, I'll get 245's for the front.

Thats freakin low. I am not a fan of 20's on a mustang at all. 18's with a taller tire work just as well.

Looks great though

So, do you folks who have lowered your S197 also do the Steeda X5 ball joint, some form of bump steer kit, along with aftermarket caster camber kits???

Seems like a royal PIA to get everything back in line...

Resurrecting this thread! I'm getting ready to buy new tires for the front, and I am trying to figure out what size tire to get. Will a 255 be OK or do I need to go with a 245?

Clay, Im guess since you were/are running those 275/35/20's up front, I shouldnt have any issues at all with a 275/40/18 on a 9.5" rim????

I am running Foose wheels with 20x8.5s on the front with 255/35/20 and 20x10s on the rear with 295/30/20. I don't have any problems but yet my front wheels is 20x8.5 where I guess your's is 20x9.
Your car does look much better!!!

I have springs with 2" drop and 275/45/18's up front and 285/40/18' in the back. My fronts are 27.74" dia and yours are 27.58" dia. I have had no clearance issues at all...
