I know you dont wanna hear this but,

Roll down the windows or turn up the radio, hell even hit the gas and listen to that thing scream. Mods can have down sides.

Sorry brotha, i learned that with my rear suspension.

thats what i've been doing lol I just hope something new isn't going bad. as long as it performs great I think I can live with that. but makes me miss the quite of my stock stuff. Not everyone with my similar set up is going though this are they?

and I forgot to mention I have the adj umi a-arm.

Do you have aftermarket LCAs as well? I had a similar problem up until yesterday. I checked the torque settings on all the bolts, regreased everything and still had a creek/squeak. I found that my e-brake cable was rubbing on the top of my LCAs. The rubbing was happening everytime the LCAs moved up or down. I looked last night and I could literally see where the coating on the LCAs was being rubbed off by the e-brake cable. Check that out as well.

Bringing this one back from the dead:dead:

Not sure if they OP is still around or not but curious if his squeaks were ever resolved and if he tried the Super Grease?

I have very few bushings on my car and one that I do have is the FSB Urethane bushings that came with my Billet UMI mounts. These things squeak so bad its not even funny. Helen Keller could hear me coming from 100yrds out!

Radio blasting, windows down, aftermarket exhaust all are unable to drown out the fucking squeaking coming from these things.

I've got the zerk's pumped full of Lucas Red & Tacky at the moment but obviously that ain't doing the trick. I just ordered some Super Lube last night in hopes this stuff kills the noise.

As a side, does anyone know of a high durometer rubber bushing that would fit a 35mm Eibach FSB? I've had no luck finding one. I'd like to keep that option in my back pocket in case the grease I ordered doesn't work.

I view it the same way I view my squealing semi-race brake pads: I drive my car hard enough to need high-NVH "race" parts, and I'm proud of it. Own it.

I have no idea if they might have what you need, but I was pleased to find exactly what I needed in the Hotchkis on line catalog including billet saddles for my Whiteline FSB since the ones that came with it weren't properly sized and subsequently made noise. It's a 33mm bar - there were a lot more options for the 35mm variant.

No need to get cock strong on why one has chosen to install race parts for their application.

Just a matter of finding the right Lube for the job which I assume is why the OP started this thread and why I am asking the question on what Lube they ended up using. This certainly isn't the first time I encountered such noise from a vehicle and in the past the Red & Tacky usually did the trick but this time and with this FSB bushing in particular its different.

Lets face it, no one "wants" to hear noises coming from there vehicle unless they enjoy things like putting there cock in a meat grinder just to say they could endure such things. In that case I'll just take a pass and let them tell me how it went.

I notice that the creaks come back when the weather warms up...I surmise it's due to the expansion of the mounts relative to the bushings, making things a little "looser".

Jeez, lighten up. I wasn't trying to be "cock strong," whatever the fuck that means. I was just saying if you're running stiffer bushings and stuff, you're going to get a few squeaks and rattles.

My apologizes, it seems I read into your post too deeply. :beerchug2:

If the pig still squeals after the new goo is applied I'll take your approach and live with the outcome of my decision to install urethane at that mounting location.

That's what I did. My car squeaks and clunks over bumps, especially the rear. Whatever, it's all urethane back there! I just decided "it needs to clunk because I drive it hard."

Just posting a follow up to this for anyone who gives a shit. After the Super Lube was injected into the zerks in heavy doses.

Outcome = it still squeaks/squeals like a pig! :roflmao:

I'm done with it. If I wasn't so lazy I would pull the bar and sandpaper off all the paint but that ain't happening so I'll just grin and bare it. :hi:

Something to consider is that the squeak may not be coming from a suspension component. Check the axleback connection and hangers. Squeaks and rattles have been known to come from there as well.
