I am waiting on the shortblock to be done. I should have it here by next weekend and be onto assembling longblock and fabbing pipes

Been busy with my wife's 70 F100 in meantime

11;1 comp 4.6l with coyote rods stag3 Cnc ported heads with oversized valves and pac springs/titanium retainers custom grind MHS/Bullet cams for carbed combo 240+deg duration @.050 on 108 lobe separation installed @ 106 ICL Victor Jr. Carb intake MSD mod6 box 750 carb

Sounds like that oughta make about tree fiddy


That motor has made 345rwhp on 9.5:1 comp and much smaller cams and EFI before. It went 12.80's in a 3,800lb convertible with a IRS and 270lb driver

Should be a little quicker in this truck that weighs only 2,900lbs :) plus some added powah now.
We took a 347 stroker out to put the 2V in it. My wife has a attachment to this engine as it was in her 01 vert for several years before.

Oh man, that looks horrible, it'll never work that way. You should probably cut your losses and sell me that block for $50 so you can recoup some of the cost.

Rick, with those types of sleeves is it possible to get more displacement and or run a stroker?

You can bore it to a 5.2L
You can get a stroker crank from Livernois also to make a 5.8L

These sleeves are .185" thick at std bore so you can safely go .080-.100" over stock bore and still run a power adder. You could go .120" over stock bore on a n/a combo safely too.
The material in these sleeves is super tough. My machinist said it is a billet quality material that was eating his cutters up when he was boring them. He wore out 4 cutters boring them.
