Hey guys, my '05 GT is creeping up on 60k miles and just wondering what things I should be checking/replacing... aside from oil and tires. Got my car used a year and a half ago so not sure what was done to it previously.

When you buy a used car it's a good idea to do a complete tune-up right off the bat so you know in the future what has and hasn't been done...and that it's been done correctly. Change all the filters, plugs, oil, service tranny/rear, lube/inspect chassis, inspect brakes...I flush the coolant and put a new stat in too but i'm paranoid soo yea. Pretty much anything that can be done i'd do it...your car will thank you later.

I'm surprised you haven't been flammed yet for posting a searchable non-techish thread in the tech section lol.

since you didn't check or do it all when you bought the car i would do everything. some maintenance depends on what mods you have also.

oil & filter of course
transmission fluid
diff fluid
brake fluid
fuel filter
cabin air filter
inspect brakes
inspect ball joints
clean air filter (or replace)
inspect drive shaft
spark plugs
inspect suspension components for excessive wear on bushings
check engine mounts

+1 on what psycho bob said, but I would say plugs should be replaced and cabin air filter, since its pretty likely they weren't changed
