starting issues

Ive had issues starting my car lately. Sometimes it will turn over right away, sometimes it wont. I know its not the plugs becasue they are brand new. It gets to the point where when it turns over the car is barely on and its about to stall out becasue the RPMS are so low and I have to give it gas to get the RPMS up so it will not stall out. OR sometimes it will turn over but will not fire. But it only seems to be doing this, for example, I drive to the gas station down the road, get gas, hop right back in and start it. Seems to be doing it only when i turn it off and turn it right back on a few minutes later. Im wondering if my starter is going out? Im thinking about getting the PA performance starter and see if that helps. What do you guys think? All mods are listed below.

Edit: Also the car has 110,000 miles on it and the starter has never been replaced.

Oh yeah I have. Now that you mention it, I have a lethal performance gt500 fuel system that does not use the factory fuel lines or filter. I have never changed that one. So maybe its that.. and honestly I wouldn't know where to buy another fuel filter, maybe from lethal, ill have to look on there site.

Need a little more info, since everyone's definition is different. When you say:

Do you mean that its cranking just fine, but the engine is not starting? Do you mean that its having trouble cranking?

Evidently the car is turning over. The Starter is OK. If you had a starter issue, the engine would not try and turn over. You are having a startup ignition problem. Contact Lethal as I am sure they have the Filters in stock. Never hurts to change a Fuel Filter with the junk they put in gasoline these days. Like said, Check basics. DO you have a hand held tuner? If so, plug it in and scan for codes. Even if the CEL is not on, there might be a code stored.

Yes, I mean its cranking fine but the engine will not start. And sometimes when I turn the key to start it ill have to hold it turned longer than usual.

Yeah I bought a filter last night from them, so we will see sometime next week. I don't have a programmer but ill go up to advance auto and use one of there's to check for codes.

When was the last time you cleaned the MAF? Our's was having a hard time starting once in a while. And when it would start it sounded like it had cams. Cleaned the MAF and it's been fine.

Maybe a month ago I did the MAF and throttle body. But even after I did that it was still the same.
