stock dyno numbers

so i just got my wife a 2011 sixxer auto. her brother goes is going to school in houston at SAM. they dynoed a 3.7 and said that it put out 340 crank. is this true did ford under rate em from the factory or is he blowing smoke.

every dyno is different, if calibrated incorrectly it could tel lyou the car has 1000hp
