Hi all,
i have a convertible mustang GT California from 2008.
Just figure out than when i leave my car parked during a very hot day for my work day, and then when i start my engine at the end of the day I hear this strange click during at least 10 min.
anyone have already hear this?
it's not changing with the engine speed, or with the ventilation options. it's only doing this when i start the engine.
hope someone can help !
see link for the video :

That was my first thought but after watching the video I didn't. My did not sound like that when my door motor went out. Was more like a rapid fire clicking. That one almost sounds dull and muffled.

hi guys, thank you for the help. indeed it's not a rapid click as everyone got when the motor vent needs to be replaced... this is why i was made the video so that everyone could hear it !

My blend door click was lower pitched, but similar. That almost sounds like its coming from the stereo. Does changing HVAC or stereo settings change things?

hi, HVAC or ventilation has no influence. i'll check today with the stereo.
i am still wondering why during the morning when the car is at room temperature there is no sound. and then afterwork, the car is warm and i hear this noise !

logical explanation would be something is expanding and then rubbing to create the sound when the car is warm

Has the circus been in town? Sounds like some of those little people may be under the dash playing "pong".
