I have a question regarding blowers and other additional mods.

Suppose you had a stock GT and you throw on a whipple/KB/Saleen, what other mods would you say are necessary?

-Tires obviously
-Clutch?
-Relocation brackets?

What mods specifically made it significantly easier to control for you guys?

Also random question but, on a Whipple HO kit, what WHP can you expect out of it? I know its a 550bhp kit but what's that come down to with a otherwise stock 4.6L?

Figure 470 with the 3.25" pulley. If you want less pick up a bigger one. Mine made 436 with a 3.625" pulley and low 460's with a 3.375.

Sweet thanks for all the responses guys.

Would you guys agree that 3.55s are just fine for ~500whp? I feel like the power would never get to the ground with 4.10s or even 3.73s

And that's another issue I'll have to address - my car currently has 4:10's. But since the shop did a shitty install job 3 years ago and they whine, it would be a good excuse to swap in some 3:55's or 3:73's.

I knew my clutch was slipping at high speed. In fourth or fifth when I stabbed the throttle I could see it in the tachometer and hear it in the exhaust. I don't have that problem anymore, but this Exedy 600 has very little play; it's almost either engaged or not.

I have had 4:10s in my car for at least 4 years. At power levels from 300 to north of 500. You aren't going to have any issues with that gearing.
